Free Screening of LIMON: A LIFE BEYOND WORDS

Thank you to Screening Services Group for inviting ScreenplayLab to a free screening of LIMON: A LIFE BEYOND WORDS at the Fine Arts Theatre on October 3rd. Followed by Q&A with filmmakers and Hector Elizondo who I'm sure you recognize from all of director Garry Marshall's movies. Something you probably don't know about Hector, he was a dancer in the Jose Limon Dance Company. (Something you probably don't know about me, I was a dance major at the University of Illinois and in a dance company called Abiogensis in Chicago.) Details below...

We had a great mixer at Sharky's last night. Fifty people came. One filmmaker even brought a documentary film crew with him! I got to chat with a DP from Ireland, a producer putting together a major movie, an agent in training, and many other interesting people. I love this town! Thank you for coming out to play.

Trick or Treat-ment still $175 for one second longer...

The only reason my TRICK OR TREAT-MENT course is still at the intro price of $175 is I'm too busy to update the price to $220. (This week execs at two TV networks said I can pitch series ideas to them.) Five writers have enrolled in my course so far. That's fine, a small class is good. We're going to have a blast! For our conference calls I'm leading I'm inviting special guests. We'll hear from VIPs who look at a lot of loglines and treatments, find out what they look for. We'll study treatments of today's major movies and apply the lessons learned to our own screenplays. Each week we'll meet at a restaurant in Beverly Hills to go over our homework. I'm bumping up the price to $220 as soon as I can find a minute, so jump in now if you want the discount.
