The three former San Francisco stand-up comedians Alex Koll, Brent Weinbach, and Moshe Kasher have become known as the most famous of all male, defecation-based, anti-communist, avant-garde dance troupes. Screening of POSTCARDS FROM THE FUTURE on Sept. 10th-12th...

Director Alan Chan (look development TD from THE POLAR EXPRESS and BEOWULF) is screening POSTCARDS FROM THE FUTURE, a 38-minute IMAX-style 4k digital high definition movie about a future astronaut, to showcase renewed efforts at space exploration with NASA'S New Vision For Space Exploration initiative. POSTCARDS was lensed on the Dalsa Origin, with greenscreen work by DP Eric Adkins. Digital projection from a Mediablock cinema server at 4K on a Sony SXRD projector. From digital acquisition through a VFX pipeline to DC prep and digital projection, this project did not touch any film OR tape.
