LAST CALL Nickelodeon's Kirkland speaking Sunday Nov 4th

This event is almost full. Last call to RSVP for ScreenPlayLab's event on Sunday with Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship Director Karen Kirkand. We'll also have a pitch clinic:

Caroline Magbojos: rom-com
Ed Friesema: adventure
J Pinder: caper comedy
Stogie Kenyatta, urban comedy

These four will be pitching, maybe more if we have time. I'll give general tips on how to construct and deliver a pitch. Together with the audience we'll say what's most effective in each person's pitch and offer suggestions how to improve it. We all face the same challenges in pitching. Everyone can learn something new from this session.

ScreenPlayLab presents Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship Director Karen Kirkand [IMDB]. 30-minute talk followed by an hour of audience Q&A. Also, Pitch Clinic with Robin Rowe. Open forum for practicing pitching your projects in front of a live audience. Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Ave., Hollywood. 3-6pm. Free with RSVP online at www.ScreenPlayLab.com.
