Beverly Hills Industry Mixer Jan. 21st

Our next ScreenPlayLab mixer is Jan. 21st. Last month was about a hundred of us, as usual. I'd planned our next mixer for this week, then had to make it next week because Gabrielle and I are busy with the lead-up to the Golden Globes. Join us at the ScreenPlayLab mixer at the elegant Sidebar by Wolfgang Puck in the Regency Beverly Wilshire Hotel where Pretty Woman was filmed. 9500 Wilshire Blvd. at Rodeo Drive. Drop by between 7pm to 10pm. Upbeat outgoing group, a mixer where people actually mix. Biz casual or cocktail attire. Drinks start at $6 and can go much higher. Ask about drink specials and deserts. No cover charge.

RSVP online to get on our guest list:

Preparations for Faith-based Action Series "JC"

If it goes as planned, Gabrielle and I will start shooting our web series in March. JC is a story of the life of Jesus Christ and the disciples set in present day Los Angeles. It's a supernatural action adventure like Heroes where people can heal the sick instantly, raise the dead, walk on water, and other miracles, yet funny in the loosely scripted way of Curb Your Enthusiasm. We'll have a lot of fun with this one. Shooting on Saturdays in March.
